Carolyn Lee Bolster

Carolyn Lee Bolster, 76, beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, October 12th in Port Royal, SC.
Born in Verona, VA, she later married Hugh Bolster of Roanoke VA with whom were married for 56 years and having one son, Joshua Bolster.
Carolyn was a kindhearted and giving person who lived a vibrant life, filled with love, laughter and joy. She was a beloved member of the community, known for her passion for dogs. She was an avid Humane Society advocate and sheltered dozens of different dogs for many years. She traveled the country going to dog shows and even entering her prize-winning Cavaliers. Carolyn devoted her life to her furry friends, even being a well-known Dog Groomer for over 20 years.
Carolyn leaves behind a husband, a son, three sisters (Mildred Noel of Verona, VA, Nancy Spitzer of Grottoes, VA, and Lisa Bottenfield of New Hope, VA) along with countless friends and family that all love her. Rest in Peace Carolyn Bolster and may you find endless fields to run in with all your dogs that crossed the rainbow bridge before you.
