Josephine M Lockenvitz

Josephine M. Lockenvitz passed away peacefully on October 2, 2024 with her husband of
48 years, and dear friends by her side.
Josephine was born on April 8, 1936 to Joseph and Rachel Varchetto in Chicago, Illinois
and grew up in the heart of Little Italy. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister,
Jacqueline Varchetto.
Josephine and her husband Everett, were living happily in Bluffton, SC, having relocated
from Oakbrook, IL. She will be remembered fondly by her many nieces and nephews for her
style and humor; and will be missed by many friends, and especially her husband.
An inurnment ceremony will be held at the Beaufort National Cemetery on October 28th at
11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lord of Life Lutheran Church in
