Ann Louise Ruckser

HILTON HEAD ISLAND - Annie Louise Ruckser formerly known as Ann Woodward, 56, passed away unexpectedly on October 19, 2014. She was born in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Samuel R. Locandro and Dorothy A. Hammerschmidt.

Family and friends were Annie's passion and delight.  She attended Collinsville High School and later graduated from Tidewater Community College. Her outgoing personality led her to work in timeshare sales where she performed very well. Annie was a free spirit and enjoyed the company others. She always had bountiful love to give and would not hesitate to tell anyone how much she cared for them.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.


Annie is survived by her parents Samuel and Dorothy, her brother Donald, and her three children Michael, Brandon and Kathryn.  She is also survived by her three grandchildren Kaila, Riley and Luke.

A memorial service will be held at Tabernacle United Methodist Church, 1265 Sandbridge Road in Virginia Beach on November 1, 2014 at 4 o'clock. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
