BEAUFORT - Betty Lou Edmonds, 91, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at Summit Place Assisted Living in Beaufort, South Carolina.
Born in Roselle, NJ, she resided in Warren, New Jersey until moving to Palm Coast, Florida upon retirement from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. The beloved wife of the late James M. Edmonds, she was the devoted mother of three children, Sandra Russell and her husband, George Moditz, of Middlesex, James Edmonds and his wife, Sue, of Fripp Island, South Carolina, and the late Karen Edmonds; four grandchildren, Robert Russell, Catherine Gennaro, James and Christopher Edmonds. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren. Before retiring to Florida, Mrs. Edmonds was an active member of Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church, where she was a deacon and member of the choir.
Cremation will be private. A memorial service will be held at Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church at a later date where she will be interred beside her husband and daughter.
