Beverly Eymer Swanson

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SOUTH CAROLINA - Beverly Eymer Swanson, 82, of Moss Creek Plantation - Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, wife of Kenneth Swanson died peacefully on Saturday April 28, 2012 at NHC-Bluffton. Mrs. Swanson, the daughter of the late Floyd A. Eymer and Mildred Eymer, was born in Iron Mountain, Michigan on December 18, 1929. Mrs. Swanson graduated from Northwestern University as an R.N.  After college she and her husband, Ken, ran Swanson Petroleum Products until their retirement in 1986.  Mrs. Swanson was preceded in death by her two brothers; Gale Eymer and Dick Eymer both of Iron Mountain, Michigan. Beverly is survived by her husband of 60 years, Mr. Kenneth Swanson; a son, Gary Swanson of Libertyville, Illinois; a daughter, Kendra Marzen of Duluth, Georgia; and four grandchildren, Jenny, Kasey, Lindsey, and Shelby.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Care of the Low Country, PO Box 3827, Bluffton, SC  29910.
