Bruce Lucas Sr.

Bruce Lucas Sr., Staff Sergeant United States Marine Corps (Retired), 68, of Beaufort, husband of Debra Bronson Lucas, died Monday, November 6, 2023 at his residence.
Bruce was born in Pittsburgh, PA and was a son of the late Donald E. and Dorothy Hockenberger Lucas. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying his motorcycle and hunting. Bruce also enjoyed helping his friends and his family was his life.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 49 years, a son Bruce Lucas Jr. and a daughter Christina Summers (Nathan); grandchildren Sean Melancon, Destinee Summers, and Nathan Summers Jr.; 2 brothers Donald E. Lucas Jr., and Wayne W. Lucas Sr.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 1:00 and from 3:00 until 5:00p.m. Friday, November 10, 2023 at Copeland Funeral Service.
The funeral service for Bruce will be held 5:00 p.m., Friday, November 10 the at Copeland Funeral Service Chapel.
Copeland Funeral Service is assisting the Lucas family with arrangements.
