BEAUFORT - Bruce Leon Rabbitt, Jr., 87, of Beaufort and husband of Jouette Ann Hostetler Rabbitt, died Wednesday morning, December 31, 2014, at Bayview Manor in Beaufort, South Carolina.
Mr. Rabbitt was born on August 6, 1927 to the late Bruce Leon Rabbitt, Sr. and the late Alice Marie Odiorme Rabbitt in Battle Creek, Michigan. He retired from Wyman-Gordan as a machinist before moving to Beaufort several years ago.
Surviving are his wife of sixty one years, Jouette Ann Hostetler Rabbitt of Beaufort; his son, Kevin L. Rabbitt and his wife, Renee, of Savannah; two daughters, Kelly Ann Carpenter and her husband, James, of Beaufort and Karri Lynn Medlock and her husband, James, of Beaufort; his sister, Donna Jean Snyder and her husband, Robert, of Jackson, Michigan; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren, and two nieces, Jouette Duckworth and Lois Duckworth.
A Private Service will be held at a later date.
