Carl Harper

BEAUFORT, SOUTH CAROLINA - Carl Harper, 43, of Beaufort, husband of Anna Katherine Harper, died Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital. Carl was born in Columbia, SC, a son of Madeline McNair Harper and the late Mikell Harper. He was a graduate of Beaufort Academy and Emory University. Carl was owner and operator of Oyster Bay Landscaping Company and a member of First Presbyterian Church. Carl is survived by his wife of 18 years, his mother, a son Henry Phillips Harper and daughter Katherine McRae Harper; a brother Frampton Harper and wife Mary Heyward Harper of Beaufort and a sister Fran Harper Hill and husband Angus of Atlanta, GA. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 22nd at First Presbyterian Church.
