Clinton A. Porter formerly of Beaufort, South Carolina passed away in Apopka, Florida on June 9, 2020.
Clinton was born in St. Petersburg, Florida on March 4, 1929 to Louise Albertson Porter and Ralph Porter. He graduated from Huntsville High School in Huntsville, Alabama.
Clinton married Virginia Blye, and together they had five children, Faith McCrory, Barbara (Mark) McKenzie, William Porter, Scott (Jamey) Porter, Lynda (Ray) Newton, five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Clinton and was predeceased by his wife, Virginia and brother Ken Porter.
After serving in the US Marine Corps he worked as a Civil Service Engineer at the Naval Hospital and retired in 1984. He enjoyed participating in coin collecting, genealogy, and traveling. Clinton was also a proud member of Masonic Harmony Lodge 22 for fifty years.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Friday morning, July 3, 2020, at Beaufort Memorial Gardens.
Memorial donations may be made in Clinton's name to Shriner's Children Hospital.
