Corinne A Orset-Mcdaniel

Corinne Orset McDaniel passed away on February 21, 2023, at Friends of Caroline Hospice in Ridgeland, SC.
Corinne was a treasure to those who personally knew her and even those who knew of her. She was born and raised in the French Alps in the beautiful town of Megeve and spent many years in Geneva, Switzerland. A longtime resident of Coosaw Point, one could find her on the pickleball court, in the swimming pool, riding her bicycle to morning yoga, taking the most beautiful photographs of nature, or just capturing friends and family. Her welcoming always set for a feast, very French, always beautifully presented like Corinne, herself.
Corinne was strong and courageous when diagnosed with cancer nearly five years ago; Corinne chose to live and love every day that was given to her. When she could no longer play pickleball, her beloved husband, Carl, bought a ping pong table so she could play with friends in their garage! Her form was perfect, such a beautiful athlete. Corinne’s sense of fashion was loved by everyone who knew her, as was her sense of humor.
Corinne leaves behind her beloved husband, Carl McDaniel; her beloved son and family, Raphael and Michelle Colsenet and granddaughters, Zoe and Lilly. She also leaves behind Mark McDaniel, Chelley Olson and Mimi Olson, and Maxwell McDaniel.
Corinne was predeceased by her beloved son, Sebastien Colsenet.
A Memorial Mass for Corinne will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at St Peter’s Catholic Church - 70 Lady’s Island Drive, Lady’s Island.
