Daisy C. DeLoach, 89, widow of Councilman Vernon H. DeLoach of Port Royal, died Monday, June 21, 2021, at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.
Daisy was born in Bamberg to the late Eugene Murray and Daisy Jamison Carroll. She was a longtime member of Port Royal Baptist Church.
Daisy was predeceased by a grandson, John Osborne Reed IV.
Daisy is survived by a daughter, Gwendila DeLoach Ward and her husband, Thomas; her sons, Lauren DeLoach and his wife, Roberta, and Keith DeLoach and his wife, Susan; a granddaughter, Kerri Haselden and her husband, Jonathan; two grandsons; a great-granddaughter; one step-grandson, Matt (Shannon) Rodgers; one step-granddaughter, Anna (Geoffrey) Mikota; and three step-great-grandsons.
The family will receive friends 10 o'clock Thursday morning, June 24, 2021, at Port Royal Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow at 11 o'clock. Burial will be at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at Sand Hill Baptist Church Cemetery - 15480 Pocotaligo Road, Varnville.
