Daniel Littlejohn

Daniel L. Littlejohn, a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather,
passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 16, 2023, at Friends of Caroline
Hospice near his home of Beaufort, SC with his loving wife, Callie, and son, Joshua, at
his bedside after a brief battle with cancer. He was born on May 24, 1956, in Garden
Grove, CA.
Daniel served his country with honor and dedication as a proud member of the United
States Marines Corps (retired). Following his military career, he transitioned into civilian
life, where he continued to make a positive impact on his community. In his retirement,
Daniel worked tirelessly with the Beaufort County school district, managing school bus
transportation for both the Beaufort County schools and with military base schools..
Daniel is survived by his beloved wife, Callie, his children, Joshua, Aimee, Jolie, and
Nicole, and sisters, Debbie and Cheryl. He was a loving father to Megan, who preceded
him in death. Daniel was also a cherished grandfather to nine grandchildren and a great-
grandfather to seven.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William O. Littlejohn, Jr. and Bernice Bovensiep
Littlejohn, his daughter, Megan, sister, Linda, and brothers, William and Robert.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 o'clock, Monday November 20, 2023 at Copeland Funeral Service.
The funeral service will be held 11:00, Monday, November 20, 2023 at Copeland Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow in Beaufort Memorial Gardens with United States Marine Corps honors.
