BEAUFORT - David P. Howe Sr., 54, of Beaufort, died Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.
David was born in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina on July 4, 1960 to Julius and Mary LaPlante Howe. He attended school in Beaufort and was employed at Palmer-Dickerson Inc. for many years. David loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and camping. He also loved the company of his loyal dog, Otis.
David was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Richard and Steven, and a sister, Valerie Howe Adkins.
David is survived by his parents; his son, David P. Howe Jr; four brothers, William Howe (Sharee), Michael Howe (Jill), Paul Howe (Julie), and Timothy Howe; a sister, Maralee Goode (Ken), and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, January 28, 2015, at Copeland Funeral Service - One Copeland Drive.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, January 28, 2015, in the chapel of Copeland Funeral Service.
Since David contributed to many local charities, the family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of your choice.
