Dr. "Lenny" Levin

Dr. Leonard (Lenny) Levin passed peacefully from this earth on August 2nd. Prior to retiring to Callawassie Island, SC, he was a long time resident of Camp Hill. For over 33 years Dr. Levin maintained an optometric practice in the Carlisle/Camp Hill area after beginning his medical service as a Captain in the United States Air Force. Lenny made numerous contributions to the optometric profession and the communities where he resided. Outside of family and his profession Lenny's greatest passion was the game of golf. He was a member of the Carlisle Country Club for 30 years and Callawassie Golf Club for 18 years. He is survived by his devoted wife, Kathy; daughters, Ami (Anne Aufiero) of PA and Jill Gobin (Mark) of NC; son, Jason (Sarah) of CO; grandchildren, Kelsey, John, Destiny, Aaron, and his beloved cat, Spooky. A graveside service will be held at 10 o'clock Monday, August 15, 2016, at Beaufort National Cemetery with Air Force Honors. Lenny was always quick to laugh and delighted in telling jokes.
