Edith Illein Williams Allan, 88, of Beaufort, South Carolina and wife of Frederick Allen, died Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Bayview Manor.
Illein was born in Fair Haven, MD and was a daughter of the late John Richard and Edith Mae Stallings Williams. She was retired from Prince George County School District after 22 years of service. She was a member of Carteret Street United Methodist Church, Sam's of Beaufort Camping Club, and the Dixie Travelers.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 69 years is a daughter, Faye Allan.
The family will receive friends from 12 until 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, August 1, 2018, at Copeland Funeral Service - One Copeland Drive.
A funeral service will be held at 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, August 1, 2018 at, in the chapel of Copeland Funeral Service. Burial will follow in Beaufort Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Carteret Street United Methodist Church - ATTN: General Fund, 408 Carteret Street, Beaufort, South Carolina 29902.
