Edna Obani Curnell

Edna Obani Curnell, 60, of Beaufort and formerly of the Philippines, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 7, 2024.

Edna loved continuing her education and worked as a CNA. She was a loving and caring person to all her patients. She always had a beautiful smile on her face. Edna was a very social person and was a member of FILAM, Bluffton Chapter, where she served as treasurer. She was also a Lifefit member and danced her way to getting healthy. She loved cooking for her family and friends for any occasion just to socialize and sing karaoke. She was very fond of her grandchildren and often shopped for them. They've developed a really meaningful bond. Edna was a loving mom, grandma, and a dear friend to many.

Edna is preceded in death by her parents, Buenos Dias and Salvadore Obani; her sister Voili, her son Joseph and her beloved Jack Russell Terrier, Sprite.

Edna is survived by her sons Alan and daughter in law Dors, Ronald and daughter in law Pinky, Gaines and daughter in law Joanna, and her son Robbie; her daughters Sheryll and son in law Jim and Shirley and daughter in law Krystal; grandchildren Megan, JJ, Patrick, Elyse, Michael, Grayson and Sebastian.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m., Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Copeland Funeral Service.
