BEAUFORT, SOUTH CAROLINA - Eliza Ramsey Grant, 61, of Beaufort, South Carolina, died Tuesday afternoon, July 26, 2011, at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.
Born in Sumter, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Willie Ramsey and the late Eliza Benbow Ramsey. Eliza was of the Methodist faith and was a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters, Loretta E. Grant and Wendy Michelle Grant, both of Beaufort, South Carolina; one son, Brandon E. Grant of Beaufort, South Carolina; two sisters, Gloria J. Diggs and Dorothy A. Ramsey, both of Beaufort, South Carolina; two brothers, Richard C. Ramsey and his wife, Velma, of Wichita, Kansas, and Matthew Charles Ramsey of Beaufort, South Carolina, and a host of nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning in the chapel of Copeland Funeral Service. Interment will be in Beaufort Memorial Gardens.
