BEAUFORT - Emma Nell Thompson, 82, a lifelong resident of Beaufort, joyfully passed through Heaven's Gate this third day of December, 2014.
Nell, as she was affectionately known to all her family and friends, was beneficently caring and empathetically compassionate for all her lovely days and in so many wondrous ways.
Nell is survived by her loving daughter Kathy and devoted son-in-law Dave, sister Peggy, many devoted cousins, nephews and nieces, notably Cindy and Sue, countless fellow and faithful church folk, many ardent admirers, and most adoringly, those precious wee ones whose lives she gently fashioned via kindness, maternal love, and joy.
Forever in our hearts you will eternally dwell Momma Nell.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Friday, December 12, 2014, at Copeland Funeral Service - One Copeland Drive.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, December 13, 2014, at the Christian Church of Shell Point. Burial will follow in Beaufort Memorial Gardens.
