BEAUFORT, SOUTH CAROLINA - Sarah Evalena Holliman Webb, 95, of Beaufort, South Carolina and widow of Franklin Lee Webb, died Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Sandpiper Rehab and Nursing in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
Evalena (Eva) was born in Milledgeville, Georgia, on December 12, 1917, and was a daughter of Owen Jefferson Holliman and Nina Way Holliman. She grew up in Savannah, Georgia, attended Savannah Armstrong Junior College and was a member of Independent Presbyterian Church. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Beaufort.
Surviving are a son, Owen Holliman Webb (Claudia); a daughter, Nina Evalena Webb Gruhler, of Beaufort; three grandchildren, Nina Holliman Webb Moynihan (Jeff) of Cumming, Georgia, Isaiah Edgar Gruhler, Crystal Ramona Gruhler Kaufman of San Diego, California; a sister, Nina Way Holliman Holladay of Burlington, North Carolina; a sister-in-law, Charmian Paul Webb, four great grandchildren Owen Webb Moynihan, Justin Pennington Moynihan, Branden Cody Kaufman, and Cadance Eve Kaufman; and nine nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon, January 21st, at the graveside, St. Helena Episcopal Church Cemetery.
