Richard Grant Hall, First Sergeant United States Marine Corps (Ret.), 65, husband of Barbara Kay Thompson Hall, died Monday, February 1, 2021, at his residence.
Grant was born in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Robert A. and Virginia Snodgrass Hall. He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran, Retired, and was also retired as a Deputy Sheriff with the Beaufort County Sheriffs Department. Grant was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 26 years are his son, Anderson Lee 'Andy' Hall; two sisters Fonda Hall Coleman and Beverly Jo Paulus; a niece and a number of nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 o'clock Thursday, Thursday, February 4, 2021, at Copeland Funeral Service - One Copeland Drive.
A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held 11:30 Friday morning, February 5, 2021, at St Peters Catholic Church - 70 Lady's Island Drive on Lady's Island. Burial will follow at 1 o'clock in Beaufort National Cemetery with United States Marine Corps Honors.
