Frank A. Delli-Gatti, Jr., 95, of Fripp Island, South Carolina and husband of Sally A. Delli-Gatti, died Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.
Frank was born in Fairmont, West Virginia on May 13, 1923 to the late Frank A. and Elizabeth Paladino Delli-Gatti Jr.
Frank is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 50 years, Sally; daughter Angela Monje, her husband Doug and their three children; Lauren, Alyssa and Morgan. He attended WV University and was employed on day one upon graduation his entire life. He will be remembered as an ingenious mechanical engineer in the coal mining industry, credited with over 50 U.S. Patents. All who knew him loved Frank and his memory will remain in our hearts and minds forever.
A memorial mass will be held at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon, October 6, 2018, at Holy Cross Mission Church, St. Helena Island. Friends may gather and continue the celebration of his life at the Delli-Gatti home on Fripp Island following mass.
