George Hans Hildebrandt

COOSAW ISLAND, SOUTH CAROLINA - George Hildebrandt of Beaufort, SC, formerly of Norwood, Ma, died at the age of 77. George was the beloved husband of Eunice K. Hildebrandt. He will be greatly missed by his children, Jim Hildebrandt and Lyn Holian; his stepchildren Robert Rodowsky, Jr. and Karen Edie; his brother John Hildebrandt; and his grandchildren Katie and Megan Holian. George was born and raised in Providence, RI. He was the son of the late Burton and Helen Sullivan Hildebrandt. George served three years in the United States Army during the Korean War. He attended Brown University for two years and finished his undergraduate degree at Boston University. George worked as an executive at a number of well-known clothing manufacturers.  He was a lifelong, avid sailor and spent many hours building furniture in his retirement.
