GySgt Stephen Thomas Powell, United States Marine Corps (Ret.), 91, of Beaufort, husband of Betty Joyce Clark Powell, died Monday, December 21, 2015 at his residence. The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:30, Monday, December 28th at Port Royal United Methodist Church. The funeral service for Mr. Powell will be held 11:30, Monday, December 28th at Port Royal United Methodist Church. Burial will be held 1 o'clock, at Beaufort National Cemetery with Marine Corps Honors. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Port Royal United Methodist Church, Post Office Box 218, Port Royal, South Carolina 29935.
