BEAUFORT - Hazel Martha Williams, 93, of Beaufort, South Carolina, died July 1, 2015, at Morningside Assisted Living in Beaufort.
She was born November 2, 1921, in Bushnell, Florida to Harris H. Poole and Martha C. Poole. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, career Marine Master Gunnery Sergeant B.D. Williams; by her brother, John D. Poole, and by her sisters, Mattie Lee Poole Mears and Mary Poole Morris.
She is survived by her son, T. Dean Williams and his wife, Cam, who live in Virginia.
There will be a brief memorial service for Mrs. Williams at 3pm Wednesday July 8 at Morningside Assisted Living, 109 Old Salem Road, Beaufort. She will be buried in a private service at Beaufort National Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the cause of your choice or to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.
