Isabelle Hannell Fabricius

Isabelle Hannell Fabricius, 91, a resident of Callawassie Island for 28 years, died on May 21, 2016. She was born in Waterveliet, New York and graduated from Russell Sage College. She married John Fabricius in 1945 and they settled in Stamford, Vermont, where they enjoyed 57 years of marriage and raised six daughters.  Her greatest legacy is a loving and close knit family. She is survived by Lynn and Richard Clough, Kristin and David Johnson, Janet and Larry Steward, Nancy and John Chilson, Karen and Larry Nummy, and Carol and Mike Skurkay. Her family also included ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Low Country Food Bank, the American Heart Association, or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
