Jacob “Jake” Hussmann, 66, of Beaufort, died Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Caroline’s Cottage. Jake was born in St. Louis, MO and a son of Dorothy Barton Schott and the late Jacob Hussmann. Jake loved his family and took pride in teaching his grandchildren to fish. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, a fantasy football fan, and loved being on the water.
Jake is survived by three daughters, Brandi Hussmann, Amber Hussmann, and Dawn Paterek; a son Jacob Horton; eight grandchildren, Cameron, Aryanna, Alyssa, Brooklynn, Samantha, Alex, Jacob, Riley; five sisters and three brothers; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m., Monday, August 28, 2023, at Copeland Funeral Service.
Memorials may be made to Friends of Caroline.
