James E. "Ed" Hutchins, 67, of Port Royal and husband of Catherine Thomas Hutchins, died Saturday, July 11, 2015, at MUSC - Charleston.
Ed was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, a son of the late LeRoy and Nadine Bagwell Hutchins. He was retired from Napa Auto Parts, Hardeeville.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Norma Goodwin.
Ed is survived by his wife of 36 years; two daughters, Shelli Steele of Vista, California and Taylor Bufkin of Port Royal, and three sisters, Kitty Nutting of Colorado, and Mary Joe Robbins and Katie Emory, both of Inman, South Carolina.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at Copeland Funeral Service - One Copeland Drive.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to your church or to your favorite charity.
