BEAUFORT - Jean Judith Gallimore, 80, of Beaufort and formerly of War, West Virginia, died Saturday, November 15, 2014, at River Oaks.
Mrs. Gallimore was born May 14, 1934 in War, West Virginia. She was a retired teacher at War Elementary School in War, West Virginia and Lady's Island Middle School in Beaufort, South Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond "Ed" Gallimore, and her son, Leslie C. Gallimore.
Mrs. Gallimore is survived by her daughter, Teri L Gallimore Horn and husband, Craig, of Beaufort; three grandchildren, Christina M Horn Perdew and her husband, Monte, and William E. M. Horn, all of Charlotte, North Carolina, and JoyAnn "Annie" Western of Beaufort; her sister, June V. Meader and her husband, Sherwood, of Roanoke, Virginia, and her sisters-in-law, Helen Gallimore of Nashville, Tennessee and Jaynne Vance of Salem, Virginia.
A memorial service will be held in the Spring.
