BEAUFORT - It is with great sorrow that the family of Mrs. Jean Mastroberti, 81, of Beaufort, South Carolina, announces her passing from this life on Monday, August 18, 2014. Jean was born in 1933 in Haines City, Florida.

Surviving are her husband, Mike; daughter, Susan Dodd and husband, Tom; son, Gary Mastroberti and wife, Ann; son-in-law, David Mayo; and her grandchildren; Catherine and Amanda Dodd, Ella Mastroberti, and Hunter Mayo.
Jean will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother. As a mother she did so much for her family. Each night we gathered around the table as a family to eat home cooked meals. During the holidays she was busy making cookies and all kinds of special treats. She truly made our house a home filled with love and precious memories. Family was always her focus and center of her life.
Jean was a nature lover and enjoyed bird watching and gardening. She loved to go to the mountains in Franklin, NC and staying at the family cabin where many family get-togethers and reunions were held. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and visiting with her children and grandchildren. Jean was a Nascar fan and got to see her favorite driver win the day before she died.
Jean was a long standing member of Saint Helena's Episcopal Church and believed that Jesus Christ was her Lord and Savior. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 11:30 o'clock Friday morning, August 22, 2014, at Copeland Funeral Service - One Copeland Drive.
