Joanne Spangler Witt

BLUFFTON, SOUTH CAROLINA - Joanne Elizabeth (Spangler) Witt, 73, of Bluffton, S.C., formerly of Gettysburg, Pa., and Cleveland, Ohio, died at home on Saturday, July 13. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, C. Gary Witt; daughter, Laura Witt; sons, Charles Witt and Robert Witt; eight grandchildren, Christopher Witt, Patrick Witt, Tara and Stephan Reyka, and Bobby, William, Grace and Isabel Witt; great-granddaughter Abbey Witt; and sister, Janice Shiffra. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chris and Myrtle Spangler; sisters, Jean Hallal and June Bailey; and brother, Buddy Spangler. Born and raised in Cleveland, she worked for many years at the family-owned Lorain Triskett Sales and Service and spent her life enjoying family and friends and helping others, most recently on a mission trip to Jamaica.
