John Henry Barry, 75, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017. John was born in Buffalo, New York, the third child of Allen and Margaret Barry.
Upon graduating from Brown University, he and Patricia "Tish" Snell were married, a match that lasted 53 years until her recent death on July 19, 2017.
John completed his MBA at Columbia University and was quickly hired by AT&T. He held various positions in several locations until settling in and finding his niche as a human resources executive. John had a passion for trains from an early age and throughout his life created and expanded his model set.
John is survived by his son, John; a daughter, Annie; a brother, Allen "Skip", and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 o'clock Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at the Parish Church of St. Helena. A reception will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
