BEAUFORT - John Hugh Jones, 69, of Beaufort, South Carolina and husband of Caroline Ann Bolek Jones, died Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Jones was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, a son of the late Robert D. Jones Sr. and Ruth Elizabeth Curry Jones. He was a long time employee of the City of Chicopee, Massachusetts. Mr. Jones was past Commander of American Legion Post 351 in Holyoke, Massachusetts.
Mr. Jones is survived by a daughter, Wendy Jane Jones; a son, John Michael (Sondra) Jones; two grandchildren, Cody Austin and Riley Lane Jones; nine brothers and three sisters.
A graveside service will be held at 12 noon Friday, March 28, 2014, at Beaufort National Cemetery with U. S. Army Honors.
