BEAUFORT, SOUTH CAROLINA - John Franklin Walker, 59, of Beaufort, South Carolina and husband of Theresa Crockett Walker, died Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.
John was born in Erie, Pennsylvania to Sarah Stuck Walker and the late John E. Walker. He was a 1970 graduate of Fairview High School and was formerly employed with ATSI. John enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was predeceased by a sister, Trudy Ann Walker.
John is survived by his wife; his mother of Beaufort; a son, Justin Walker of Palmdale, California; a sister, Susan Walker of Port Royal, South Carolina; two grandsons, Christopher and Sebastian Walker, both of California; a step-granddaughter, Victoria Colleran of the home; two step-daughters, Faith Lidster of Walterboro, South Carolina and Csa Colleran of Beaufort, South Carolina; a step-son, Matt Colleran of Beaufort, South Carolina; a niece and two nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 3:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon, April 15th, at Copeland Funeral Service - One Copeland Drive.
The funeral service will be held at 3:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon, April 15th, in the chapel of Copeland Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to Theresa Walker - 315 Cedar Grove Circle, Beaufort, South Carolina 29902.
