Joseph S. "Joe" Cochran, 40, of Beaufort and husband of Kelley Pierre Cochran, passed away Monday, May 4, 2015, in Beaufort, South Carolina.
Joe was born in Buckhannon, West Virginia. He was a son of Minister Max Stewart and Vivian Jordan Cochran. Joe was a Lance Corporal veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he was assigned to the military police. Joe was employed at Parris Island and Beaufort Naval Hospital as a civilian optician.
Joe is survived by his wife and best friend of nineteen years, his parents, three loving sons, Tyler Joseph Cochran, Justin Anthony Cochran and Brandon Michael Malonis; close siblings are a brother Daniel Edward Cochran; two sisters Tabatha Dawn Wolford and Melissa Marie Kidwell; and two caring grandmothers Doris Jordan and Dot "Mee Mee" Dansereau.
The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Friday morning in the chapel of Copeland Funeral Service - One Copeland Drive. Burial will follow at 11 o'clock in Beaufort National Cemetery with full honors.
