BEAUFORT, SOUTH CAROLINA - Juanito A. "John" Donato, Jr., of Beaufort, South Carolina, left his family for the Lord on August 29, 2011.
"John" as he was known, was born on November 9, 1931 in the Philippines. He retired from the United States Navy after 30 years of service. He also worked and retired after 15 years with the Beaufort County Health Department.
Mr. Donato is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Andre and Lisa Donato, Jonathon Donato and James Donato; two daughters, Janie Yanez and Michelle Donato, and grandchildren, Logan, Andre J., Chelesa, Haley and Jackson.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:30 o'clock Wednesday morning, September 7, 2011, at Copeland Funeral Service - One Copeland Drive.
The funeral service, with full military honors, will be held at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning, September 7, 2011, at the graveside, Beaufort National Cemetery.
