Lenora Sue Wheeler Rhodes, 75, of Beaufort, South Carolina and widow of Truman Earl Rhodes, died Thursday afternoon, February 22, 2018, at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.
Born in Franklin, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Carl Wheeler and the late Beatrice Fry Wheeler. Lenora was a homemaker. She enjoyed baking, fishing and boating.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard 'Ricky' Carl Carson; a son-in-law, Calvin Goggins, and two sisters.
Surviving are her significant other, Mark Argetsinger of Beaufort; three daughters, Tawnya L. Swigart and Dorothy L. Crawford and her husband, Dale, all of Beaufort, and Debbra Sue Ann Goggins of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; one son, Craig Michael Carson of Beaufort; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and one brother, Charlie Wheeler and his wife, Doreen, of Sharon, Pennsylvania.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 6:30 Tuesday at Copeland Funeral Service ' One Copeland Drive.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 Tuesday evening in the chapel of Copeland Funeral Service. Interment will be private.
