Leroy Edward Beere

Leroy Edward Beere, 81, of Beaufort, died Friday, April 15, 2016, at his home. Mr. Beere was born in Tyrone, Pennsylvania and was a son of the late Herbert and Mary Hazzard Beere. He was a veteran of the United State Marine Corps and held the rank of Staff Sergeant. Mr. Beere is survived by seven children, John Beere and his wife Karen, Rebecca "Becky" Shaner and husband, Douglas, Tom Beere and his wife, Michelle, Lisa Beere, Leroy Edward Beere, Jr. and his wife, Karen, Christopher Beere and his wife, Melissa, and Matthew Beere and his wife, Katie; 24 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at Copeland Funeral Service - One Copeland Drive. The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday, April 21, 2016, at the graveside, Beaufort National Cemetery, with Marine Corps honors.
