Marion Smith Anderson

Marion Smith Anderson, 90, of Beaufort passed away on September 13, 2016, at Summit Place in Beaufort. Born October 11th, 1925 in Augusta, Ga., she was the daughter of late Guy Carroll and Estelle Branch Smith and sister to the late Dorothy Smith and Carol Seitman.  Marion was married to the late Fleming Murphy Anderson who she served faithfully as a partner in life and in business.  After his death, she later married the late Robert Peter Keller, Ret. USMC.  Marion was a loving mother, graceful artist and charitable giver who loved to paint and design jewelry.  She was also a long-time member of the Parrish Church of St. Helena in Beaufort. Marion is survived by her daughter Patricia Anne Jones and her husband Richard; their four children; a son Guy Joseph Anderson and his wife Robbie and their three children; and twelve great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11 o'clock Monday morning, September 19, 2016, at the Parrish Church of St. Helena in Beaufort, South Carolina conducted by The Reverend Matthew Rusch. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.  There will be a reception in the Parrish Hall immediately following the service.
