LADY'S ISLAND - Mary Ann Henninger, 80, of Lady's Island and wife of Kermit M. "Corky" Henninger, Colonel U.S. Army Retired, died Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at her residence.
Mary Ann was born in Danville, IL. She was a daughter of the late Franklin and Frances Lehmann Hampton. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and was also a member of the Columbiettes of the Knights of Columbus.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of 56 years, are a daughter, Anne Halopoff; two sons, Pete and Kurt Henninger; six grandchildren; two sisters, and a brother.
A graveside service will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday at Beaufort National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to The Huntington's Disease Society of America - 505 Eighth Avenue, Suite 906, New York, New York 10018.
