Michael J. Del Monte, a resident of Beaufort, SC, born on June 5th, 1947, peacefully passed away on November 19th, 2023, at the age of 76.
Mike is survived by his sister and brothers: Natalie, Frank, Guy, Kim, Greg, and Scott. His love extended beyond blood, as he is also survived by his adopted daughter Lindsay, her husband Matt, and their daughters, Ali and Madi.
A proud veteran, Mike served his country in the United States Army. His dedication and service were a testament to his love for his country.
In his professional life, Mike found fulfillment in a long and rewarding career with the American Petroleum Institute. His contributions were not only to his nation but also to the industry he served with distinction.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mike had a keen passion for antique cameras and a talent for working on cars. These hobbies brought him joy and allowed him to express his creativity and mechanical skill.
Known for his generosity and caring nature, Mike was always the first to lend a helping hand to neighbors and friends in times of need. Mike's kind heart will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Michael J. Del Monte will be held at a later date dertemined by his family.
