Corporal Noah Gary Huff

January 17, 2002 — May 11, 2024

Noah Gary Huff (2002 - 2024)
Noah Gary Huff lived to play his guitar, sing his songs, and love his people. Noah Gary Huff, 22, of
Beaufort, South Carolina unexpectedly and tragically passed away on 11 May 2024 while serving as a
United States Marine in Iwakuni, Japan.
Noah was born 17 January 2002 in Yuma, Arizona to US Marines Brant and Cheryl Huff who fondly recall
his overzealous ambition to join in the institution that his parents helped shape.
He was a deeply caring and charismatic child who loved to get down and dirty – enthusiastically
participating in shooting, fishing, dirt bike riding, and generally creating a good-natured ruckus in the
neighborhood. He attended Agape Christian Academy, where he grew and flourished spiritually before
taking the oath of enlistment that would begin his career of service to his country in the USMC on June
15, 2020. Throughout his career in the Marine Corps, Noah travelled to numerous countries, supporting
the operational commitments of the Corps and serving as an ambassador of the American spirit,
demonstrating the ethos of honor, courage, and commitment while seizing the opportunity for
adventure.
In 2023, while deployed to Brisbane Australia, Noah met the woman who would become the love and
light of his life, Casey. Their whirlwind romance was a tale for the history books and after the formalities
of familial introductions, their courtship progressed and Noah and Casey embarked on their next big
adventure, marriage. Excited to start their lives together, Noah and Casey were married on 7 February
2024. They had just surpassed 3 months of marriage at his time of passing.
Noah was a brother to Paige and Gavin Huff and a friend to all. He was widely known for his love for
country music, rock and roll, motorcycles and was a true ole' boy from the south. When he wasn't
scouting a new fishing spot, he was grilling steaks, helping others, or hanging with his boys. He will
forever be fondly remembered for his infectious personality, his dedication to work and comrades, his
capacity as a gentle giant, and a lover of eating all things green and vegetative.
His memory lives on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him. Corporal Noah Gary Huff, a
Brother in Arms, VMFA-242, United States Marine Corps, Semper Fidelis.
