At his home with close family attending him, Norman G. Morrall left this life on Monday, June 7, 2021.
The 5th and youngest child of William Mallard Morrall & Eloise Lawton Morrall, Norman was born on Labor Day, Sept. 4, 1933.
Following graduation from Presbyterian College (1955) he was commissioned into the Army, though his true passion was to fly. After military service, he worked as a private pilot for a company in Michigan, then successfully applied for a position with Pan American Airways in New York and achieved his boyhood dream of 'flying big airplanes and seeing the world.'
Norman is survived by: his wife Dollie Morrall; Sons Daniel Morrall; William Matthew Morrall, Daughter-in-Law Norma Aguirre Morrall, Grandchildren, Jessica Morrall & Ryan Morrall, attending West Point, Classes of 2023 and 2024; Step-sons Scott, Chris & Eric Widney; daughters-in-law, Marti, Yente, & Jennifer, respectively, and 11 step-grandchildren.
A funeral service for Norman will be held 10:00 a.m. , Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at The Baptist Church of Beaufort. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
