Oscar N. King, 84, of Beaufort, husband of Joe Anne Rushing King, died Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Summit Place of Beaufort.
Oscar was born June 19, 1938 to the late Shannon and Marion King. Oscar joined the United States Marine Corps in 1955 and served until 1966.
Oscar was married to his wife Joe Anne for 65 years and they raised three beautiful daughters, Terry Lynn, JoBeth Marie and Karen Lee. All three preceded him in death. He has three grandchildren, the late Tracy, Kelly and Bobby; nine great grandchildren, Bryan, Brandon, Justin, Taelyr, Kyra, Kyrstyn, Kyndel, Sean, and Liam; four great-great grandchildren Brantly, Gerald, Kiely, and Nathaniel.
Oscar was self-employed for 50 years as owner of Kings Crab Pot Supply. He loved God and witnessed to his customers. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A private service was held.
