LADY'S ISLAND - Pamela Fabian Ledford entered into eternal rest at her home on January 10, 2015.
Pam was born to James F. and Alice Lightsey Fabian on October 18, 195l. She was predeceased by her parents and by her husbands, Robert D. Vogt Jr. and Reginald Robertson and her sister, Nancy Fabian Hiester Cade.
Surviving are her husband, Charles E. Ledford of the home, daughters Tonya Vogt (Mark) Morris of Yemassee, Melissa Ann Vogt (Tommy) Lubold of Ridgeland and son Robert D. Vogt III (Amy) of Walterboro, S. C. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren , brothers James (Linda), Larry (Chari), and Russell Fabian and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pam grew up in Beaufort and enjoyed the outdoors, especially the beach, boating and fishing and was the Beaufort Fisherwoman of the Year for 2005. A beautiful and vivacious lady, Pam loved singing and dancing and made friends wherever she would go. Her presence could light up any room. She especially cherished her fellowship with the members of Jones Swamp Church in Walterboro where she attended until her health prevented doing so. The family extends special thanks to Pastors Tom Polk and Brandon Hutson for their encouragement and support.
Most of all, Pam was a devoted and beloved Wife, Mother and Grammy who imparted her values and love of life fully lived to her children, grand children and great grandchildren, who live to cherish her memory.
Visitation will be at Copeland Funeral Service on the 13th of January from 5:30pm until 7:30pm.
Funeral service will be held in the chapel of Copeland Funeral Service at 12:30pm on the 14th of January with interment to follow at the Beaufort National Cemetery.
