Paul H. Infinger, 77, of Beaufort, SC, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022.
Paul was born July 26, 1945, in North Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Gordon
Infinger and Nora Kelly Infinger.
He graduated from North Charleston High School and Wofford College, playing football
for both schools. He was recruited by Vince Lombardi to play for the Green Bay Packers
but declined, opting to attend University of South Carolina School of Law, where he
obtained is J.D. degree. After graduation he practiced law for over fifty years. After
football, golf became his sport of choice where he formed and maintained many dear
friendships. His golf game was only exceeded by his boundless sense of humor on the
course. He was a member for many years at Secession Golf Club. When not working or
on the golf course, he was an avid hunter.
Paul was a faithful and active member of The Baptist Church of Beaufort taking his sense
of humor with him into his Sunday School classes.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy McMillan Infinger, his step-daughter, Megan Lee
(Parker) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and their daughter Minnie Lee; his sister, Betty Tant
(Buddy); his brother-in-law. Jack Patrick, and beloved nieces and nephews. In addition
to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Jean Patrick, and a brother, Ted Infinger.
A memorial service for Paul will be held at 1 o’clock, Friday, January 13, 2023 at The Baptist Church of Beaufort.
