Rose Edna Henderson, 79, of Beaufort, died New Year's day 2019 surrounded by her loving family in her daughters home in Bluffton, South Carolina.
Rose was born January 10, 1939, to Patrick A Blair and Mary A Shaw in Bridgeport, IL. Rose was a member of Shell Point Baptist Church, volunteered for the Salvation Army, a member of Daughters of America, and a member of Beta Sigma Phi. She worked at Lipstz for many years and retired from Belk Department Store. Rose was lovingly known as 'Granny" by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Crystal M McGraw, granddaughters Amber R Henderson and Stephanie Campbell-Hiester, and a nephew James O. Gill.
Rose is survived by daughters Connie R. Campbell, Deanna K Williams (David), and Nedra A. Caston (Mark); a son Dale W. Henderson (Loree);a brother Paul R. Blair (Patricia); 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 9 nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 Friday morning, January 4, 2019, at Copeland Funeral Service - One Copeland Drive.
A graveside service will be at 11 Friday morning, January 4, 2019, in Beaufort Memorial Gardens.
