Rose Smith Londeree

BEAUFORT, SOUTH CAROLINA -Rose Eleanor Smith Londeree, 92, of Beaufort, widow of Benjamin Randolph Londeree, died Monday, March 26, 2012, at Bay View Manor. Rose was born in Toledo, Ohio to Alfred and Catherine Schlagheck Smith. She previously worked for B & O Railroad as a tour guide for high school trips, was a member of Questers Antique Club, and was of the Catholic faith. She was predeceased by an infant son Ward William Londeree, a step daughter Patricia Richards and four sisters. Rose is survived by a daughter Leah Roche of Beaufort; a step son Benjamin Londeree, Jr. of Columbia, MO;  a brother Alfred Smith of Waterville, OH; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Visitation for Rose will be held Thursday, March 29th from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Copeland Funeral Service- 1 Copeland Drive. Funeral service for Rose will be held in Toledo, Ohio.
