Sandra Partin Mattocks entered the gates of Heaven on the afternoon of June 15, 2015.

Born on August 30, 1948 in Berea, North Carolina, she was a daughter of Elma Hicks Partin and the late Robert L. (Bobby) Partin, Jr. Sandi (MiMi) loved her music and her family, especially her children and grandchildren.  She worked as a court reporter in Beaufort for many years before settling in Jacksonville Florida, where she managed Auto Sounds and Cellular for 10 years. Sandi will always be remembered for her infectious smile and laughter. She was also extremely intelligent, often whipping up on her kids in Trivial Pursuit, Jeopardy, and Scrabble. All that knew and loved her will remember a beautiful person that, above all, loved and cherished her family.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother Timothy Allen Partin.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brother, David Partin (Ann) of Burlington, North Carolina; four children, Kimberly Ann North (David) of Beaufort, South Carolina, William Christiaan Pollitzer (Harriet) of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, Megan Mattocks Geiger (Casey) of Jacksonville, Florida, and Jonathan Evan Mattocks of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina; four grandchildren, Sara and Tara Courtney, both of Beaufort and Stratton and Madeleine Pollitzer, both of Hilton Head Island; one great-grandchild, Tucker James Reed, and many family and friends.

The service will be held at 11 Saturday morning, June 20, 2015, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Berea, North Carolina. Following the service there will be a reception in the Fellowship Hall. Burial will be private.
