James 'Ed' Walls, Sergeant Major United States Marine Corps Retired, 87, of Beaufort, died Friday, April 21, 2017 at his home in Beaufort.
Mr. Walls was born January 02, 1930 in Crumpton, MD and was the son of the late Joshua and Emma Walls. He was preceded in death by his wife Lillian C. Walls and daughter, Virginia 'Ginny' Spencer.
Mr. Walls is survived by three children, Edward (Karen) Walls of Bridgeville, DE; Beverly (Jimmy) Moran of Jacksonville, FL; and Julian (Amber) Walls of Hilton Head Island, SC; and 8 grandchildren.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 10 o'clock Friday morning, April 28, 2017, at Beaufort National Cemetery with United States Marine Corps honors. Semper Fi.
