NEW MEXICO - SSG. Andre Booker, United States Army, 30, of WSMR, New Mexico, husband of Shanette Herring Booker, died Friday, August 19, 2011.
SSG. Booker was born in Huntsville, AL. He is a son of Willie Booker and Doris Booker Harris. SSG. Booker was in the United States Marine Corps until 2007, then joining the United States Army. He is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
Surviving in addition to his loving wife and his parents are four children Mia Staton, De'Andre Booker, Del'Shawn McDaniel, and Dairrion McDaniel; one brother Rodney Booker. SSG. Bookers family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Copeland Funeral Service.
The funeral service for SSG. Booker will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2011 at Copeland Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Cynthia Pringle officiating. Burial with Army honors will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2011 at Beaufort National Cemetery.
